About The Hong Kong Jockey Club
The Hong Kong Jockey Club is committed to advancing equestrian sport and operates four riding schools dedicated to promoting riding through training programmes, horse hiring, livery services, visits, and competitions. After rigorous assessment, these schools remain the only British Horse Society–recognised riding centres in Hong Kong.
At the Beas River Equestrian Centre—Hong Kong’s largest facility—257 horses are cared for across a world‑class complex that includes a riding school, livery yard, competition arenas, and retraining unit.
We are looking for a Performance Jumping Coach to lead the National Youth Squad in show jumping and support the growth of the sport in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Beas River Riding School, you will coach riders of all levels, mentor young athletes, and work with the Head of Equestrian Affairs on performance reviews and competition planning. The role also involves schooling horses at the Beas River Equestrian Centre, assisting with the retraining of retired racehorses, and selecting horses for development in show jumping. You may act as a consultant to the Equestrian Federation and will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to help elevate show jumping in Hong Kong.
