Experience with Horses

I’m 19 years old, I have been riding for almost 12 years. I’ve had my own horses since i was 8. I started volunteering at a local riding stables when i was 13, being mostly just mucking out, cleaning tack preparing horses, and assisting on hacks with kids and tourists. I competed my own horse  up to 1.05 and a friend’s horse to 1.10.

When I was 16 I went to Germany for 2 months during the summer and worked there as a groom on a stud farm with around  20 jumping horses and a few dressage horses. There I did the basic yard work and also some riding. I also helper take care of the foals and broodmares.

In 2024 for 3 months and 2025 for 2 months I worked as working student in a fantastic stud farm in Malaga, including young horses and stallions. (Where I also have a fantastic recommendation letter from) Here I also did loads of the normal yard work, also some riding and lunging and also more technical stuff, like using the Bemer and giving some basic massages and doing stretches with the horses that needed it.

In 2023 I worked at MET for 2 weeks, and generally I’ve spend a lot of time helping my trainer and my friends at MET and other competitions. Generally  have more experience as a home groom, but I understand the gist of showgrooming and I am a quick learner.

The horses themselves, working together with them, wether in the saddle or not(honorary mention to cuddle breaks)

My riding, general knowledge of animal health, their body and mind, and clipping

I’m hard working, don’t back down from working extra hours, bad weather, or stress. I always willing to learn and gain more experience.
