Future Requirements (UK)
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I am looking to continue developing my career within a professional UK yard, particularly in racing, polo, or competition environments. I want to further improve my ridden work, horse fitness management, and overall yard responsibilities while contributing to a high-standard, well-organised team. My goal is long-term growth within the UK equestrian industry.
• Do you need accommodation?
Yes, I would prefer live-in accommodation, as this is standard in many UK yards and allows me to be fully flexible and committed to the role.
• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?
No, I do not have any animals to bring with me.
• Do you have any ongoing commitments?
No, I am fully available and flexible to meet the demands of the role.
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?
No, I do not have any holidays booked.
• Visa Sponsorship Requirement
I require UK visa sponsorship and I am seeking an employer who is licensed and willing to support a Skilled Worker visa. I am committed to long-term employment and adding value to the yard through my experience and strong work ethic.
Experience with Horses
I have over 10 years of experience working with thoroughbreds, polo ponies, and trail horses across Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the UK.
In my current role in the UK, I am responsible for the daily care and management of thoroughbreds, ensuring they are fit, healthy, and presented to a high standard. My duties include ridden work, lunging, feeding, grooming, mucking out, and preparing horses for training, competition, and transport.
I have strong experience in monitoring horse health, identifying issues early, and assisting with vet, farrier, and physio visits. I am confident handling different types of horses, including fit competition horses, and I always maintain a calm and professional approach.

- Confident rider (flatwork, exercise riding, lunging)
- Thoroughbred and polo pony experience
- High standard of horse care and turnout
- Stable management and yard organisation

Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy working closely with horses and being part of their development, from daily care to preparing them for performance. I take pride in seeing horses well-presented, fit, and performing at their best.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to further improve my riding, especially with young and high-performance horses, and gain more experience in competitive UK yard environments.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I bring over a decade of practical experience, international exposure, and a strong understanding of professional yard standards. I am hardworking, reliable, and adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. I am committed to long-term work in the UK and capable of contributing immediately to the smooth running of the yard.
