Future Requirements
• What would you like to do or achieve in your next job?
I would like to be part of a team where I can continue developing my experience with horses, especially in dynamic work environments such as farms, stables, or equestrian centers. I am looking for a job that allows me to combine horse care with close interaction with people, whether leading excursions, helping beginners, or participating in the daily maintenance of the facilities. I am also interested in continuing to learn and grow within the equestrian sector.
I am passionate about everything related to horses!
• Do you need accommodation?
It depends on the work area. If it’s far away, that would be fine. Otherwise, I live in Palma city center and can travel by car. I have a B driving license and a valid work permit.
• Do you have any special requirements for the animals you wish to bring with you?
No
• Do you have any ongoing commitments?
I work as a freelancer, but I manage my own schedule. I can compare it to having a lot of free time!
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know about?
No
Experience with Horses
Describe your experience with horses and the scope of your services as a freelance professional. If you are looking for work unrelated to horses or a stable, use this space to describe your experience, skills, and abilities, and tailor the questions to your sector.
I have several years of experience riding horses and a very natural connection with them. I have ridden regularly, both in the arena and outdoors, and I am comfortable handling horses in different contexts.
I am accustomed to basic care: cleaning, brushing, pre- and post-ride preparation, and observing the horse’s behavior. I have a good sensitivity for reading their condition and reacting calmly and confidently.
Furthermore, I am very interested in animal welfare, so I always prioritize respectful and mindful treatment. I adapt quickly to new environments and horses, and I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
I would like to work with horses, both adapting them to a new environment and caring for them. I can also ride, walk, and jump them. I have over 10 years of experience in show jumping. If you have children who ride, I can help and take care of them. I’m a good babysitter and I’ve also given jumping lessons to children.
Key Skills
- Excellent horsemanship and confidence.
- Sensitivity to animal behavior.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills with people (especially beginners or tourists).
- Responsibility and organization in daily tasks. Adaptability to different situations.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
Strengths & Weaknesses
• What do you enjoy most about working with horses?
What I enjoy most is the connection I develop with the horse. I like to work from a place of calm and trust, and see how they respond when I’m present and attentive. I also really enjoy the natural environment and being able to share that experience with other people. They transmit an incredible calm and peace, if you know how and are willing to understand them.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I am always looking to improve my technique and expand my knowledge, especially in handling young horses or more specific situations such as training or behavior correction.
• Why should employers consider you over any other job applicant?
Because in addition to experience, I bring attitude, commitment, and sensitivity. I am a responsible person, eager to work and learn, who adapts easily and cares for both horses and people. I am dedicated to my work and always strive to contribute to the team.
