Hours to be 1000 hours over the year but broken down into:
- October to March/mid April 800hours, average 31 hours a week across 7 days.
- April to September 200 hours, average 7.5 hours a week across 7 days.
Please note these hours may vary depending on when horses start ‘in work’ again and when team chasing and hunt races are completed in April. Hours may well need to be adjusted to suit.
The part time person must be flexible in terms of hours worked in the week, particularly in the winter months, to allow for hunting, team chasing and hunt races. Some weeks may require longer hours and less hours during other weeks – clearly flexibility is the key to successfully fulfilling this role.
Hours completed to be recorded, a monthly invoice/time sheet to be submitted ready for payment.
No dogs are allowed in vehicles or the yard during working hours without express permission.
Holidays on a pro rata basis.
