I currently work on an estate but after being here 9 months I’ve decided I much prefer an equine job. I worked with an equine vet in Yorkshire previous to moving to Scotland and thoroughly enjoyed it and also mucked out at a retraining yard local to me. I can handle colts/filly’s confidently I would trot them up and help the vet to treat them and would take on and off walker when at pertaining yard. I can plait but I have to say I’m a bit rusty though my sister used to compete all over the country with her west ponies and I would prepare them for showing. I had my own Irish cob when I was in secondary school so I can ride but I don’t very often since being in Scotland so an exercise/ hacking out would be best if I was wanted to ride however I’m always keen to learn and improve I just haven’t had any lessons in a while.

I enjoy working alone however I’m happy to work in a team and I can plait reasonably well. I handled young horses quite frequently in previous my job and have the patience to work with them.

I’d like to improve my plaiting.
