I have been riding for 11 years, and have done several work experience placements with horses duties such as; riding, mucking out, turn out/ tun in, grooming, tacking up, lead lessons, Hay-nets

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy working with horses because everyday is different and there is always something new to learn. I like caring for them by grooming and mucking out and making sure they are healthy and comfortable. I enjoy building trust with horses and seeing the progress they make with good care. working with horses has also helped me become more responsible, patient, and hardworking, and I enjoy being part of a team that puts the horses welfare first.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I want to improve my feeding skills by learning more about different horses nutritional needs. I also want to develop my plaiting skills so I can produce neat, professional plaits for competitions and events.
