Experience with Horses
I have had over 14 years of experience with horses and have previously worked at multiple different yards undertaking general day to day yard duties in between going to college and university.
working at 2 different stud farms my tasks included handling strong stallions, yearlings and Broodmares, turning them out, exercising, feeding and preparations for sales and viewings, this entails training yearlings to be bitted and rugged as well as washing, Plaiting and walking yearlings in preparation for the show ring. Within this job I did a lot of heavy lifting with feed bags and bales along with day-to-day yard tasks as there are over 40 horses on the yard and 70 mares and foals off site.
This was the turning point in my career which excelled my skills and education and is ideally what I am looking to pursue in the future.
