Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I have been riding horses since I was 5 years old and have always had a strong passion for horses. I have experience as a horse caretaker, including feeding, cleaning stables, grooming, handling horses, and assisting with daily yard routines. I have experience with riding and general horse care, and I am always willing to learn and improve my skills.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I am particularly good at handling horses calmly and patiently, grooming, feeding, cleaning stables, and understanding horse behaviour. I can work independently or as part of a team. I am responsible, hardworking, reliable, and always focused on the horses’ wellbeing.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy building a connection with horses, learning from them, and taking care of their daily needs. Being around horses has always been my passion, and I love seeing their progress and wellbeing.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to improve my professional knowledge, gain more experience with different types of horses, and continue developing my riding skills and equestrian techniques.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
Employers should consider me because I am passionate about horses, hardworking, responsible, and eager to learn. I have experience with daily horse care and I am willing to work hard, adapt to new environments, and give my best to support the team and the horses.
