Experience with Horses

I am an experienced horseman with more than 20 years of practical experience working with horses, with a strong
interest and hands-on background in Thoroughbred racing, horse training, conditioning and competition
preparation.
Since 2010, I have owned and trained my own horses, including Thoroughbreds, and have been responsible for
developing training programmes, conditioning horses, exercising and handling horses, preparing them for
competition and managing the practical logistics involved in racing and travelling.
I am comfortable working with performance horses and understand the discipline, consistency and attention to
detail required to keep a horse fit, healthy, responsive and ready to compete. I have also worked professionally in a
stud and stable environment and have experience with endurance horses, Arabian horses, showing and Western
Mounted Games.
I am hardworking, physically fit and willing to work long hours. I take pride in horse care, stable standards and
building trust and communication with the horses I work with.

Since 2010, I have owned, trained and competed with my own horses, with particular experience in Thoroughbred
racing and performance horses. I have been directly involved in the day-to-day training, conditioning, care and
preparation of my horses.

I represented Botswana at the Young Rider World Championships in Bahrain in 2005, gaining valuable international

the National Western Mounted Games in Parys, South Africa.
