Further experience working alongside rescue equines including developing handling and medical knowledge. I would like to continue to learn and gain all education possible.

- Extensive work with rescue equines at Bransby Horses including those with varying medical and handling needs
- Assisting with preparation for rehoming
- Experience running a horse riding programme in the U.S over several summers
- Worked as an instructor for several years with a range of ages and abilities including children
- Providing educational talks for visitors and volunteers
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
- I thoroughly enjoy working within a team and through work and travel I have been able to communicate and adapt effectively
- First class degree in Equine, Behaviour, Health and Welfare giving me theoretical knowledge to back up practical skills
- I have worked alongside a wide range of professionals and have experience assisting with a range of medical professionals
- Experience handling an array of equines of all breeds and sizes including; mares, foals, stallions, feral, donkeys
- Ability to work in all weathers and time frames including overnight foal feeding and emergency work
- Iniyial handling and training of foals
- Able to work effectively in emergency situations
- I have excellent communication skills developed through employment and travel
- Experience in supervisory roles including riding supervisor, ropes supervisor and head counselor at a summer camp- all allow mw to have confidence to make decisions and work alone when needed.
