Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I love the variety that comes with working with horses. Every day is different, and I enjoy getting to know each horse and figuring out what works best for them. I also love the hands-on side of the job and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve had a good day when the horses are happy, healthy and well looked after.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I have experience with clipping and plaiting horses, but I would like to develop these skills further and become more confident and consistent with my technique. I would really like the opportunity to learn different styles and improve my attention to detail, especially when preparing horses for shows and competitions.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I love a challenge and I’m always looking for opportunities to push myself, learn new things and improve my skills. I’m genuinely passionate about horses and I’m not afraid of hard work. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management (Equitation), achieving Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction, giving me both practical experience and a strong understanding of horse care and management.

I’m reliable, enthusiastic and always willing to get stuck in and learn from others. I care about doing things properly and, most importantly, putting the horses first. I’d bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and plenty of enthusiasm to the role.
