i have had horses since i was 4, competed low level myself. worked for a private showjumper, on a livery yard, did my level 2 aapprenticeship at a horse rescue where i did some foal work and night shifts for an orphanfoal who needed bottle feeding every 2 hours. worked for a 5 star event rider workingwithbig ad powerful horses tat was hard to handle when walking, adapted my way of work around them. currently doing my level 3 apprenticeship on a sales yard, showjumping and stud also there, aswell as rehab. i can work with nervous/powerful/ dangerous horses. stallions, broodmares and foals, and top competition horses.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
i can maintain yard standards, work alone and with others, i am learning to plait and clip to top standards, handling all types of horses, work with customers in a professional manor, and also organise other staff and the running of the yard when no one else is onsite
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
watching them improve and be the best they can be, making the yard neat and up to standards

definately my experience with foals and the breeding process
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
other than ‘just finding a job’ i am eager to impove my knowledge to help create a career in neonatal nursing as i am looking to get my vet nursing course started end of next year.
