Future Requirements
• I am currently on the lookout to progress within the horse world. I am looking to apply with the view of developing my skill set and becoming a senior groom.

Experience with Horses
My first experience with horses only dates back to 2023 where I was doing yard work for a local P2P trainer. This had inspired me to pursue a career in racing and landed me graduating at the British Racing School in 2025 which was delayed due to injury. I had learnt to ride there from complete scratch.
Since then, I have been a full time work rider/groom where my jobs include general yard duties, riding out – including yearlings & pieces of work and leading up at the races and taking care of multiple horses at the races.
I would love to progress within the equine world and work my way up to make a senior debut. I am interested in gaining experience outside of racing as I have gotten into horses so late I’d love to see what else is out there. I am keen to learn how to ride technical and very interested within the showjumping/eventing world. I am also naturally leaning towards the idea of retraining racehorses.
Key Skills
Handling and riding multiple different Thoroughbreds and racehorses in training. Including yearlings, colts and leading up tricky horses at the races.

I would like the foundation in gaining full competence and confidence with skills that include bandaging, plaiting, medical management & care, nutrition and yard management.
