Experience with Horse
I have about 35 years experience in the equine industry. I have held many different roles running hunt, livery and riding school yards. I have lectured in equine studies and delivered staff training and development. In my last position, which I have held for 5 years though I have worked for them for 10 years, I was overall responsible for a 20 box yard. Apart from general yard duties, schooling horses, teaching, over night on call and dealing with equine related ailments I also complied with regulations set by the employer, local council and the British Horse Society achieving highly commended throughout on our BHS inspections. I also complete the recharges, compile marketing material, organise competitions and complete staff appraisal and development plans. The horses in my care range from happy hackers to team GB event horses.
I am looking for a live in role in similar setting or sole charge with a smaller number of horses to maintain high quality care and add the personal touch.
