Currently the Head Groom on a private yard in the Chiltern Hills.
Tentatively looking out for other opportunities due to the extensive travel involved in getting to and from my current yard.
BHS Stage 3.
HVG and CPC qualified.
Comfortable in leadership roles, but also happy to take direction from superior.
Current responsibilities include planning day to day running of the yard, and the handling of fit dressage horses.
I report directly to the Estate Manager, who manages the yard. I take charge in his absence, and I am comfortable with liaising with farriers, vets etc.
I have worked on 5* livery yards for the last 10 years, and started out in a small riding school.
Hoping for a similar job role, or to take on my next challenge.
