October 2022 – February 2022 Job Title,   Groom  Temporary yard cover

My duties here were the same as above, Ensuring the day-to-day needs of the equines were met, mucking out, assisting with farriers, Vets and essential persons for the care of the animals.

September 2019 – October 2021 Job Title, Groom, Livery Yard

my duties included mucking out the horses, ensuring that their needs were met from feeding, to changing rugs, liaising with owners, Vets, Farriers and all essential persons providing care to the animals.  I worked as part of a well established team and ensured the safety of both my colleagues and myself at all times.

I have had 11 years  of experience with horses and for those years I have learnt lots of things about from basics to the higher level more advanced things I have done lots of thing from showing to cross country and showjumping and lots more. I have had experience riding lots of different horses and different strategies for riding them etc.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I’m very good at working alone and with others I’m also very good at plaiting and turning out for showing. I am very good at handling horses and younger horses as my own horse is still young so know all the different things about that I have been around stallions before but never handled them I have mucked out with them in the stables before.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

Lots to learn

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

Because I’m a very hard worker and when I put my head down my head is down and I get through things very quickly I do as I’m asked all the time and I do what needs to be done on time and make sure I’m ready for times and that horses are ready etc.
