Experience with Horses
I have been riding horses for 27+years and working formally in the industry for 15+. I have managed both big and small yards with most of my time spent on training and riding. I have coached extensively throughout the years. As well as backed and schooled one of my own pony who went on to become a A+ juniors showjumper. I spent a number of years taking beginners out on beach trails some of whome had never been on a horse.
I now freelance to a few people through my groundman ship company, helping people overcome their fears when handling particularly difficult horses.
I also have a manufacturing company for equestrian products Called Callisto equestrian.

Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you enjoy most about working with horses? The reward in witnessing a horse and rider reach their full potential, Having a happy team and happy horses who love their work.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve? I am always seeking to better improve my knowledge. i feel that one should never stop learning, each horse i work with beings new challenges and new opportunity’s for being a better rider and equestrian. i would like to improve on my show jumping in particular having competed many years ago I would like to do it more.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker? I am hard working and dedicated. my attention to detail makes me an asset for any yard. Passion for this sport and this career is what drives me. I am a loyal employee and prefer to stay in one job for long periods.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job? The industry in south africa is very limited and I would like to expand and grow this into a career. I hope to gain more competition experience as a groom or work rider.
