Experience with Horses
I am a young rider with a lifelong passion for horses and horse riding. I am currently working and living in Brussels, Belgium but I have decided to change career directions towards a sector I am more passionate and truly committed to.
I have been riding from the age of 7 (with some intervals due to studies) and still ride, currently taking flatwork and jumping classes (up to 1.10m). I have already worked in a horse riding center, in my home country, Italy, I am qualified and gave childrens’ class and worked during summer camps, horse trekking. I also performed general duties and care of the horses, something I loved and still take great joy in doing. I hold a BTEC level 3 in horse care and management. Currently studying for BHS Stage 2 Complete horsemanship.
I am looking for a job position in the industry where I can gain more expertise and knowledge.
I also have experience as a communication officer and social media manager, I am comfortable in doing administration and office job from time to time if needed.
I have an exceptional work ethic and a keen eye for details. I work well when communicating with people and know know how to be diplomatic in delicate situations.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I work well both in teams and individually, I can take on independent tasks without supervision.
I can handle young horses and start them with the basics of natural horsemanship.
I am a good rider on the flat and can jump up to 1.10 m.
I previously worked as an instructor, teaching to beginners and intermediate level. I work well with children and love giving them classes or organise events including pony games, jumping competitions etc.
I can manage a website and develop effective contents for a variety of online and offline publications. I can perfectly use Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel etc.
I speak fluently Italian and English and have a conversation level in French.

Horse have my passion since I was a child. Pursuing a career with them has been always a dream of mine. I particularly enjoy introducing new people to this wonderful world, getting them closer to nature and horses. I love creating a relationship with the horse, applying natural horsemanship techniques to ensure the horse is happy and healthy.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to learn about stable management of a stud or yard from A to Z. I would also like to keep improving my riding skills and natural horsemanship skills.
