Experience with horses
I got my first horse (which was 18 months old) when I was 8 years old and from that young age I had to take responsibility for him and do everything that I had to with him to make sure that he was happy and healthy. When he was 5 I started to back and break him so that he was rideable and then throughout his time with me I started to jump him and take him to many competitions. Then I started to work at a riding school and then went and studied Equine management at Sparsholt college for 3 years.
Key Skills
I am very good at working on my own or in a team of people. And I am also a very social person and get along with anyone I meet. I’m also very good at dealing with a lot of young and fit horses. I have plaited, trimmed and clipped a variety of different horses. And all of my work is completed to a very good standard.
Strengths and Weaknesses
One of my biggest strengths would be my attitude to work as I’m a very upbeat and positive worker. I have had a lot of experience with horses but also understand that many yards do things differently so am excited to learn how you prefer things to be done.
My biggest weakness would be that I’m not amazing at pulling a mane but I would love to learn how.
Requirements
I would have to have accommodation with a job but I am willing to relocate anywhere. I have no holidays booked either
