Experience with Horses
I am currently working on a livery yard as a full time groom doing all the usual daily yard duties, including basic medical care (ie poultice change, eye drops, bandages etc). I have ridden since I was 2. I have done dressage to a basic level, showjumping and cross country. I started to play polo when I was 13 and have continued to play until now (8 years). Since playing polo I have competed in SUPA tournaments. I have also hunted many times. I have ridden youngsters, hunters, racehorses freshly off the track as well as still in racing, polo ponies and eventers. Being a horse lover I have worked at a few small holdings, lunging, hacking, hunting etc.
Key Skills
Working alone, taking the lead, when or if needed. I am good at going off my own initiative and have a lot of common sense. Good people skills. I am very gentle and understanding with both people and animals.

I would love to improve my clipping and learn how to help foal. I would also want to improve my natural horsemanship (parelli etc) if possible

I am hard working, positive and not afraid to get stuck in or get muddy! I take every stride as it comes and as said before, have good initiative. No day is the same in the world of animals as we all know, so common sense and a good work ethic is needed and I have both of those.
Requirements

Work with horses and animals generally. I would like to gain some experience with foaling and work on my clipping and all round just have new experiences.
