- Experience with Horses
I’ve been around horses my entire life, I’ve spent around 10 years working with horses and having my own in-between, I’m very confident around these animals. I’ve have previous experience with race horses, mare and foals, stallions, showjumping horses and driving horses.
Key Skills
My key skills are that I’m confident and very quick thinking in situations good or bad, I am a lot better on the ground, clipping, plaiting, bathing, lunging or equally just yard duties I have a keen eye for detail and i muck out to a very high standard I think that may be a little OCD but who wouldn’t want a lovely cozy clean bed to sleep in at night!
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I just enjoy being around horses, no matter what I’m doing I thrive around them, it’s the little things for me like when they whinny at you at breakfast time or give you a cheeky head nudge while your giving them a groom, they are my passion I could not see my life without horses in it.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I think there is always room for improvement, especially with me it’s my riding, not that I’m bad or inexperienced but I had a bad fall a few years ago and it really put a hole in my confidence. Im currently building this back up with my mare jumping and hacking was so scary to me for a while, and the fear of a horse bronching or rearing could really knock me. So this is the thing I want to improve most!

I will put blood sweat and tears into my job, im such a hard worker and I will do anything I can to help better the business/firm.

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I think it would be fantastic to just better myself, not everyone can know everything and working around horses there is always something new to learn

I would need accommodation.
• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?
I do have my own horse, and I also have a dog who i definitely could not leave behind.

Just my horse, nothing else currently
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?
I have no time nor the money for a holiday I have a horse.. that speaks for itself
