Dear Potential employer
I would like to take this opportunity to detail my ideal opportunity to ensure I would be the correct fit for your yard.
I am looking for a position that can allow me to take to the next level in my equestrian career. My ideal position would include a healthy amount of riding; flat schooling, fittening work, hacking etc with the ideal situation being progression into some jumping and ring time when my skills are developed further. Having the chance to travel to national and international shows would be a big bonus but I’m equally happy to be in sole charge at home so that is a flexibility for me. Having training with my own horse as part of the employment package is a huge must for me, having her on-site and being able to get a helping hand every now and then when required would really benefit my career. In addition to this, the opportunity for her to be on the truck to some shows is another selling point for me. As personal points, having my horse on-site, my own accommodation (on-site or near by) as well as the possibly of my dog joining me are all non negotiable.
Now what I can offer in return for this dream position of mine! I am highly organised and efficient, great at working to a deadline and working under pressure. I treat every horse like my own and always strive to be the best; having high standards I always know there’s room for improvement… I will never be happy to ‘settle’, I need to know I’m giving my best. My skill set is fully listed in my C.V but I like to ensure I am 100% well rounded and have a full range of skills, allowing me to be at the top of my game no matter what the job requirements may be. As personal traits I can bring an upbeat attitude to any team, always have a smile on my face and will always be buzzing around and keeping busy! I love getting my hands dirty and would never see another team member struggle with a job alone, sharing is caring after all!
