My Experience with Horses
My name is Anastascia Houghton and I have worked on a hunt yard as rider and groom for three years. They stable near thirty horses, twenty of which are advanced hunters/team chasers in hard work. The other, project horses or horses stabled with us for schooling livery. Resulting in bringing on green horses into trustworthy hirelings for hunting/team chases/show jump competitions. I am a competent trustworthy rider with attention to detail and a strong passion for the sport and care of horses. I take pride in my work and aspire to a high standard. I now want to be surrounded by more of a focused eventing environment as I’m bringing on my new event project I bought last year. I am local to Gloucestershire require a live in role with horse allowed.
My key skills include, plaiting, clipping, turning out to a high standard, attention to detail in all aspects, strive in a group but can also take control and initiative to work alone. Handling and riding young green horses and producing them into trustworthy hirelings. My riding -schooling on the flat, showjumping and cross country are all competent and am not a novice ride.
