I am 19 years old full of enthusiasm. I’ve owned horses since the age of 10. I have attended PC, RC, affiliated jumping, team chased, hunted with Gelligaer and ridden in most other disaplines.
I currently work full time in McDonald’s and two days for a showing yard and small stud. I would like to think I’m a hard working team player, with a good ethic and experience. I have my BHS stage 1 and 2 complete and first aid. I’m working towards my stage 3 with a private instructor.
My jobs roles at the showing yard consist of general yard duties, paddock maintenance, general horse care, feeding, first aid if required. I school and hack the stallions. Help prepare the horse for show at the weekend and compete the horses under saddle. I also help with the mares and foals.. I’m also in sole charge of the yard whilst Owners are away competing or on holiday.
I love all disaplines and i am currently competing my own horses BS.
I have helped at my local PC during the rallies and summer camp.
I currently live in Newport south Wales. I think this job would be a great path for me to further my experience in the equestrian industry.
