Experience with Horses
Over 20yrs experience working on a variety of yards as a groom, rider, instructor, sole charge, manager and own event/livery yard:
- Breaking/training yard – Fiona Jones, Cornwall
- Family Hunt Yard – ( Field Master of The Four Burrow Hunt, Cornwall)
- The Piedmont Fox Hounds Hunt Yard – circa 50 horses belonging to Masters, Hunt staff and Subscribers (Virginia)
- Yard Manager to GB Medal Winning Young Event Rider (Abi Walters, Cornwall)
- Own event/livery yard under the guidance of the Chef D’Equipe of the GB Young Event Rider Team (Nick Burd, Somerset)
- Rider for a stud, competing the stallion and breaking/starting off competing his progeny (Milton Stud, Wiltshire)

Strengths and Weaknesses
My strengths are that I have a great deal of experience within the equine industry but also outside of it, which allows me to be an asset both on the yard and in the office, if needed.
My vast years (41) means I am not trying to climb a ladder to riding stardom, nor looking to leap frog to another job. I’m looking to stay with a job long term. I have an extremely strong work ethic, am loyal and honest.
My weakness is that I need flexibility, I’m a single mother of 3 children and need flexibility around school drop offs etc. My children are well used to being on yards with me, they are helpful, not needy and not (that) irritating. I can work around my children and make up hours, but I do need flexibility.
Requirements
If the job is further than 15miles outside of the SN9 area, then I will require accommodation.
Wilts/Hants border ideally but am willing to relocate for the right job.
