Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services.
I have been riding since i was 7 years old, I have worked at a riding school where I turned out, brought in, groomed, tacked up the horses ready for lessons and also completed all of the yard duties. I then completed a year of equine management at derby college where I got a distinction and merit award for my riding and horse handling. After this I completed a year of animal care at a different college where I learned about the care routines for different animals.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I work well alone and with others. I am easily adaptable to both. I am able to work quickly on my own but also work at a fast pace within a team to ensure everything is done. I am very thorough and like to get things done to the best standard I can. I always try my best and put my all into everything I do.
I am always punctual and organised.
I enjoy preparing horses for shows/events whether that is bathing, plaiting up, practicing for the shows and riding in the shows. I enjoy working with different horses and being able to improve my riding and handling skills.
