At this job I have taken sole responsibility on a family yard with 4 horses. During this job I have done
procedures such as mucking out, turning out , hacking , schooling, jumping , competing, preparing for
events , getting horses ready for competitions, getting horses ready for hunting and normal day to day
jobs on a yard. Having sole charge of a yard has given me lots more experience and knowledge of
how to do a role like this and enjoy having the responsibility of it.

During this role I have used my previous skills with working with horses. I have learnt how to handle
and take care of stud horses which includes mares, stallions, foals and yearlings. Iveleart the correct
method and procedures to being around these horses and have experience in other industries too.

Part time groom on a busy livery yard with many different clients on the yard. Many liveries competing on weekends which meant I would always on the ball getting horses ready sometimes in short time frames for different competitions each weekend.
