I have plenty of experience with horses, I have owned horses all my life and worked with them throughout the years. I have owned/worked with a variety of horses so I’m used to all temperaments. I currently have a 4 yr old Irish draught gelding I’m bringing on myself. I worked on a racing yard for 2 years as a stable hand mucking out, feeding, turn out etc. I recently have started freelancing covering holidays and helping as and when needed.
I pride myself on being a team player who can also thrive independently. I’m confident handling young horses as I’ve had plenty of youngsters throughout the years. I’m also confident handling fit competition horses I’ve worked with both racers and eventers. I’m a very enthusiastic, reliable person eager to learn new skills and always keep improving.
I enjoy working with horses I like to be busy and be outdoors. It’s what I know I’ve grown up with horses and I love being around them and working with them.
I’m confident in my ability to long rein/lunge and I’m a capable rider. I have an eye for fine detail. I’d like to improve my weaker skills for example clipping, plaiting. I can do both but it’s something I want to improve.
I hope to be considered because I’m a hard worker and very eager to pick up new skills and expand my knowledge
I would like to work with horses as a stable hand/groom.
Accommodation would be a necessity for me
To bring my horse with me is a must. He’s a very easy going and sweet boy. No special requirements except he would need 24/7 turnout or out in the day in at night.
