Experience with Horses
I have ridden my whole life, a variety of horses including producing my own young horses in a variety of disciplines including showjumping, eventing, dressage, showing and hunting. I have worked in the office of a busy equine reproduction and veterinary practice where I learnt lots about reproduction and vet services. I also have experience as a stud groom, polo groom and hunt groom over 18 months
Key Skills
I am good at working within a team and with many types of horses. I can turn out/plait to a high standard but need more experience with clipping/general maintenance however I have a bit of experience with this and am very willing to learn.
Strengths and weaknesses
• Working out what works with each particular horse and using that to their advantage
• Working with young horses, training and producing
• I would like to improve my general horse maintenance eg. clipping/trimming
• I am an enthusiastic and motivated worker with a passion for horses
