Experience with Horses
Currently I am an equine assistant at Coworth Park we take clients on hacks around the estate also offering lessons, help maintaining 18 horses/ponies. Ride and lead turn outs, deep litter beds upkeep, lunging, field maintenance, managing small team when managers are off the property.
Before that I was at a private livery yard aquiered my NVQ Level 2 Horse Care qualification. Taught me high quality mucking out standards, assisted with 5 new forest ponies and foal, daily medical procedures, rehabilitation, carriage rides and dealt with ex-racers.
Shared a Hafliger for 5 years, mainly did ground work.
Key Skills
I am always eager to learn, all yards like to do things different so I am very adaptable and I have worked in many fast pace environments but enjoy working alone too.
I am confident handling all equine and happy to train on the ground manners and ride anything.
Well practiced tack cleaner.

Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
The wellness therapy of being around them I don’t just mean the riding this includes the grooming them and making them look beautiful. Working in the field making sure they get the best grazing.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
Possibly work on plating for shows as not done enough but would love to develop my knowledge.

I am easy going and eager to learn and believe to work at a high quality.

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would like to be a stronger ride, i done a lot of ground work, I am a confident rider but never had opportunities to jump or do cross country but this is not essential.
