Experience with Horses
I have worked at riding schools to racing yards, including competition and livery yards. Most job roles have entailed riding which I’m happy to continue but equally I don’t mind if that isn’t within the job role.
I am keen to further my knowledge and would be interested in getting my HGV licence. I have previously driven 3.5t boxes happily.
Key Skills
Having previously been in yards where I would regularly work alone this is something I am happy to do, have experience with handling youngsters, stallions and fresh horses.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I am a keen, hard working individual with an eye for detail and happy to work alone or as part of a team. I like to ensure that horses are looked after and well cared for.
I am happy to take advice when it comes to riding as everyone has their own preferences and due to riding horses from different disciplines I can alter my riding to suit, I would be open to getting more BHS qualifications as well as increasing what I am able to drive.
Requirements
I am happy to commute or equally happy to relocate although I do have my own horse so preferably somewhere that I could then also keep him or livery nearby. He is happy to live out with shelter or stabled with turnout due to his age.
