Experience with Horses
I have not worked as a professional groom before, however I have grown up around and owned horses for my whole life. Before moving my current horse to my new house, I kept her on a busy livery yard, where I frequently helped out and looked after and exercised the other horses. I have done low level competing for a long time.
I have done a combination of dressage, showjumping, cross country, hacking and schooling. I also have experience in bareback riding and natural horsemanship. My current horse has a really lovely temperament, but I have a lot of previous experience with cheeky ponies!
Key Skills
I am very good at keeping a super clean and tidy yard, as I’m organised, have a good eye for detail and really appreciate how a well kept space can influence the overall feel of the yard. I am efficient at mucking out and grooming. I am always a calm influence around horses and people, and bring a positive and enthusiastic outlook to all of my work.
