I am looking for a groom position, i have been around horses my whole life, worked with young horses and have plently of experience. I took a break due to person circumstances but i am looking to get back into my dream
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
i’m good with working alone as i can work quickly and effectively, I am experienced in handling all sorts of horses but i haven’t handled a stallion yet but i don’t think i would have any problems with it. I can muck out, ride, plait and clip to a good standard but it can always learn to perfect it.

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I think horses aren’t just an animal, they are a person and they have personality’s, It’s always been my dream since a young age to work with them.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
my turn out standards, i think i can be better at them.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I am very hard working, I used to work at a previous yard from 7am to sometimes 7-8pm with little to no breaks, I am very observant to any situation, and i can act quickly in a emergency. I would treat the horses like my own but i am strong enough to not let them push me around.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
More experience and to improve on my skills like plaiting, clipping, and handling horses. I would also like to do some hacking as i love going for a relaxed ride.
