I have been around horses and ponies from a very young age with my both parents working within the racing industry. My father being a former NH jockey and now Jockeys’ Valet and Mother having been a bloodstock agent. My sister has also evented up to CCI4*. Prior to taking up my current position as a full time groom within a family yard, I spent 4 years running a very successful freelance business that also provided a pet and house sitting service. During this time I was lucky enough to work for leading jockey Ryan Moore and his wife. I cared for his four young children and their ponies during this time. I also have experience working with hunters, competition horses, dogs and various other animals.
Running a freelance grooming business I developed excellent time management and organisational skills. I am extremely trustworthy and reliable. Due to the nature of freelancing I have spent a lot of time working independently but also really enjoy being part of a team. I pride myself in having high standards when it comes to turn out, yard duties and riding.

I love how rewarding it is to care for horses and support their owners and/or riders in achieving their goals. I like that rarely two days are the same and you can always be faced with new challenges, leading to learning opportunities.
Going forward I would really enjoy a home based nanny and (or) groom position as this is a role I have really enjoyed previously.
