Experience with horses.
I have been around horses from a very young age, I spent the majority of my weekends at a local riding school whilst I was growing up. In my teenage years, at this riding school, I went on to break a number of horses in, trained a handful of horses to go to various mounted police forces and took on a more yard manager sort of role. I studied a level 3 extended diploma at college which I passed with a distinction, at college I rode a variety of different horses from dressage horses, competition horses to ex racers and shires. I have a little experience in the racing industry, I worked for a flat trainer riding out on the round gallop, swimming horses, getting horses on and off the Walker.
Key Skills
I am a punctual and reliable individual, I am able to effectively work alone and in a team and have excellent time keeping skills. I can clip, bandage, plait and turn horses out well.
Requirements
