Experience with horses
I have been around horses since the age of 6. I have ridden since that age and always worked the yard for lessons. I took on an apprenticeship at a livery and rehabilitation yard from 2019 to 2022. I have my Level Two and 3 NVQ equivalent qualification in horse care. I then took a job on at a Film/ Carriage Driving yard as a sole/ travelling groom from 2021-2022. Now I currently split my work as a trainee paraplanner 3 days a week and run a yard of 20 horses 3 days a week.
Key Skills
The skills that I am good at are working alone and in company, using my initiative and can take orders. I can muck out, sweep, groom, bath, clip, exercise (hack or school), lunge or long line, turn out, pull in, prepare horses for travel horses.
