Experience with Horses

I have been working within the equine industry over the past 10 years. I started off as a junior groom in 2015 at my local riding school. My job was to groom and tack up horses for lessons. I worked at this riding school for 4 years. I left this riding school for my first full time job at yard that was both a competition yard and riding school.  In my first year working here my job was work on one of the yards. When working on the yard we had between 10 and 15 horses to look after daily.  Our duties where to muck out, turn out/in, make feeds and give medication to horses that needed it and general yard duties.  After a year of working on the yard i moved on to work with the competition and school horses. I was a groom for both. I learned how to turn horses out properly for shows. This included clipping, bathing and plating. There were often opportunities to go to shows and be the groom.  In 2021 I was given the chance to teach lessons and take pony club each week. I loved teaching so i taught lessons and done pony club every weekend.  Unfortunately, in 2022 I had an injury to me knee which stopped me working with horses for about a year.  When u recovered i opened my own freelance business where I would break and bring on youngsters.

I would love to ad to my experience on clipping, I can clip but would like to be able to try other clips.
