With a background as a former RAF Military Police Officer and current experience as a Groom and Head Girl, I bring a high level of professionalism, reliability, and dedication to equine welfare and yard standards.
I currently work on a private family estate, where I am responsible for the care, management, and exercising of up to 40 horses. My roles have involved both sole-charge and team-based duties, daily riding of horses with varied temperaments, and maintaining exceptionally high standards of stable management expected within a private setting. Previously, as Head Girl at a full livery yard, I managed daily operations, supervised staff, coordinated with veterinarians and farriers, and ensured all welfare and health and safety requirements were consistently met.
My five years of service in the Royal Air Force as a Military Police Officer have given me a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and calm decision-making under pressure. I am highly organised, discreet, and dependable, with excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. These qualities transfer naturally into demanding equestrian environments where consistency, trust, and attention to detail are essential.
I am a confident and capable rider, exercising horses daily with a strong emphasis on correct flatwork, balance, and welfare. I take pride in maintaining a professional presentation of both horses and yard, and I am known for my punctuality, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
