Requirements:
I would value the chance to ride and develop a variety of horses as well as my own as part of the position. Additionally, I am seeking a role that provides the opportunity to work within a coaching capacity, training children and/or adults or a job role in which I can develop my coaching skills via shadowing/ networking etc. I am also happy to Groom, yard chores, work with/ look after children, maintenance and house keeping roles alongside the core roles of coaching and/or riding.
I do not require accommodation. Depending on location I would consider moving and accommodation options. I currently live alone and have a PRE Gelding who may need to move with me depending on location and job requirements.
Experience with Horses:
I am an experienced equestrian professional with a comprehensive background in horse handling, riding, and training. My expertise spans working with a variety of horse breeds, ages and types, combined with an in-depth understanding of equine behaviour, research and psychology, supported by an MSc in Equine Behaviour, Performance, and Training.

Freelance Riding Coach:
Dedicated to helping riders refine their skills, improve their position, and achieve competitive success. Coach a variety of riders, riding and competing at Prelim and Novice level, and jumping up to 90cm. Developing and implementing training programs tailored to each rider’s skill level and goals, ensuring both safety and progress. Provide guidance on proper riding techniques, to improve position and horses way of going. Assess performance and offer constructive feedback, exercises for improvement, and help riders to build a stronger partnership with their horses.
- Equine Behaviour Trainer:
Working with owners and riders to understand and educate about horse behaviour, improving the horse-human relationship, ensuring horse welfare through ethical practices. Promoting safety, a whole horse approach and increased understanding of communication between horses and handlers. Assess behavioural issues, create tailored training plans, implement strategy to address problems such as fear of loading, leading and groundwork, stable management and care, as well as performance challenges.

One of the aspects I enjoy most about working with horses is building a connection through understanding and collaboration. I find great satisfaction in bringing a horse into the arena, working through challenges, and developing a mutual trust and partnership.
I firmly believe that learning is a lifelong journey. I am always seeking opportunities to enhance my coaching abilities and broaden my experience. Also, I am eager to improve my riding skills, especially flatwork and jumping techniques, by working and riding with a variety of horses. Areas I need to improve are my turn out skills, practising under a time frame, at competition standard and on many different types of horses.
