I have been around horses since the age of 4, I am 26 in February. I have worked in a professional setting with horses for atleast 5+ years. I have been riding since age 4 and have owned horses since I was 11 until recently. I have experience mucking out, feeding, turning out/in, exercising, assisting vet/dentist/farrier etc. I worked for Natasha Baker OBE, para rider.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
Working independently and within a team, mucking out, feeding, grooming, exercising, handling horses of any age and discipline, hacking, bathing.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love the outdoors and being around such beautiful animals. I have always had a passion for horses and riding.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to learn how to clip, and improve plaiting skills.
