Experience with Horses
Personal experience with horses on private yards and previously volunteered at my local RDA site. My CV is primarily corporate but I have provided a supporting document explaining further reasons as to my change in career.
I have provided sole care of 4 horses on many occasions, including holiday and illness cover.
Key Skills
Working alone, everyday yard duties, observant, well organised, clipping, general horse care.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Horses are hard work as standard but they are very rewarding and I enjoy getting stuck in and giving everything a go.
I would like to gain more ‘industry’ experience and find a varied role that will allow me to see the wider aspects of working with horses.
I am passionate but also completely aware and understand the amount of work that is needed when entering this career,
Requirements

Ideally a live in position that will allow me to bring my rescue dog and cat, and potentially my pony too, she is 14.2hh and 20 years old.

Current office job which has a required notice period.

I have 12th-19th May booked as holiday, then 23rd June due to a friends wedding.
