Experience with Horses
I have had a rewarding experience volunteering at CC Equestrian for three years, where I developed a strong bond with both the horses and the riders. During my time there, I gained valuable skills in horse care, including grooming, feeding, and understanding their behavior. Working closely with riders of all ages, I learned how to provide support and encouragement, helping them build confidence in their riding abilities. This experience deepened my appreciation for the connection between humans and horses, and it reinforced my commitment to promoting a positive and safe environment for everyone involved in the riding community.I have been around horses since I was just four years old, which has given me a lifelong passion for these incredible animals. Over the years, I have accumulated a wealth of professional experience working with horses in various settings, from riding schools to competitions. This extensive background has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of horse behavior, care, and training techniques. My early exposure to horses ignited a love that has only grown stronger, and I am committed to continuing my journey in the equestrian world while sharing my knowledge and skills with others.
Key Skills
I have gained extensive experience in bringing younger horses into work, which has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in training techniques. Additionally, I practice liberty work with both young and older horses, enhancing their trust and communication with me. I’m also proficient in tacking up, grooming, and all the basic skills necessary for horse care, ensuring that each horse is well-prepared and comfortable for their activities.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What I most enjoy about working with horses is the deep connection and trust that develops over time. There’s something incredibly rewarding about building a relationship with each horse, understanding their unique personalities, and helping them grow. I love the challenge of training, whether it’s bringing younger horses into work, practicing liberty work, or even just grooming them and putting them out, as it allows me to see their progress and share in their achievements. Additionally, the joy and satisfaction that come from caring for them, grooming, and tacking up create a fulfilling routine that I cherish every day.
• I want to improve my patience with horses and my riding skills, as my goal is to become an all-rounder rider capable of excelling in various disciplines; I believe that by focusing on these areas, I can enhance my overall abilities and become a more versatile and confident equestrian.
•Employers should consider me above any other job seeker because I bring a wealth of hands-on experience working with horses, including bringing younger horses into work and training liberty work. My strong foundation in basic skills like tacking up and grooming, combined with my passion for the sport and commitment to continuous improvement, makes me a dedicated and reliable candidate. Additionally, my ability to connect with horses and understand their needs allows me to create a positive environment that fosters growth and development, which can be a valuable asset in any equestrian setting.
