Experience with Horses
I have worked with horse full-time since 16, during my time with horses I have been a Competition groom for showjumpers and eventers, I have groomed in the UK as-well as abroad in Europe and Australia.
I have also managed a showjumping yard of 20 horses in Australia and been second head for an eventing yard in the UK
Key Skills
I work both well in a team and as sole charge, in all my previous jobs I have had to clip, plait and turn out to a high standard for shows.
I have experience of handle all types of horses from young stock too breeding stallions.
I take pride in my work striving for a tidy well organised and professional work environment.

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy following a horses journey whether it’s a young horse that has been broken in and going to its first show to an older horse progressing into the bigger and top classes.

Sorting carnets when transporting horses to Europe.

I have a high work ethic and attention to detail, I also have a lot of experience for my age but I’m always keen to learn new things wherever possible.

I would like to be a competition groom traveling around the UK and Europe, and gain any new knowledge I can from working in a new place.
