Experience with Horses
I have extensive experience working with charity-owned rescue horses, where I have played an integral role in their rehabilitation and training. I was taught to ride at just 4 years old on a riding school that my grandfather owned. My focus has always been on building strong, trusting bonds with horses, which has been key in helping them succeed in competitions—I’ve had the privilege of winning numerous times. I find great fulfillment in working closely with horses, whether it’s through groundwork, riding, or simply offering them the care and attention they need. Additionally, I enjoy performing various yard jobs, from mucking out and grooming to turning out and preparing horses for shows. Being around horses is where I feel the happiest, and I am deeply committed to their welfare and success. My passion for these beautiful animals fuels my drive, and I take great pride in every aspect of my work.
Key Skills
I have a strong set of skills when it comes to working with horses, including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in various environments. I am experienced in plaiting and turning out horses for shows, ensuring they are presented at their best. Handling stallions and working with young horses is something I am comfortable with, and I understand the importance of creating bonds and gaining their trust, which is essential in building positive relationships with them. My friendly and hardworking nature, combined with my deep love and passion for horses, motivates me to always give my best and perform at the highest level.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I enjoy working with horses as many people fear them. They are scared because of their size or there breading – I enjoy showing people that with the right love and care they are oversized dogs
I believe I should be considered for this role because I am hardworking, dedicated, and have valuable experience working with rescue horses, which has given me a deep understanding of their unique needs and behaviors. Horses are my true passion, and I approach every task with care and commitment, ensuring their well-being and success. This role wouldn’t simply be seen as a job to me; it would be an opportunity to grow further while making a real difference in the lives of horses. My experience, enthusiasm, and love for horses drive me to excel and contribute positively to any team I am part of. There is always room for improvement and to learn, I am open to be taught new ways.
