Experience with Horses

I have been surrounded by horses since a very young age, and my passion for them has only grown over the years. I’ve been fortunate enough to ride for many years, gaining a deep understanding of horse care, riding techniques, and the bond between horse and rider. In addition to my personal riding experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work at polo stables, where I gained hands-on experience in bringing polo ponies back into work for the polo season. This has allowed me to develop a strong skill set in managing and training horses, ensuring they are in top condition for their competitive careers.

Key Skills

I am highly skilled at working both independently and as part of a team, adapting to different environments and tasks with ease. I’m accustomed to managing a busy workday, efficiently prioritizing tasks to ensure everything is completed on time. My experience includes riding one horse while leading two others simultaneously, which has honed my multitasking abilities and focus. I take pride in my incredible attention to detail and am a highly organized individual who consistently works to the highest standards, ensuring that everything I do meets or exceeds expectations. Highly adaptable and a quick leaner.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I love working with horses because of the opportunity to be outdoors and connected to nature. I’ve always had a deep love for horses, and I truly feel at home when I’m surrounded by them. Their intelligence never ceases to amaze me, and I find great fulfillment in building a strong bond through hard work. There’s an unmatched sense of reward when you see the progress and trust that develops from the time and effort spent alongside them. The experience of working with horses is incredibly rewarding, both physically and emotionally

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

Although I haven’t worked full-time with horses for a little while, I’m eager to get back into it and build upon the skills I already have. I’m committed to refining my abilities and working to a high standard, ensuring that both myself and the horses I work with thrive. My passion for horses remains strong, and I’m excited about the opportunity to continue learning and growing in this field, applying my previous experience while striving for excellence.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

Employers should consider me over other job seekers because I am incredibly hardworking, a quick learner, and excel at using my initiative to get things done efficiently. My experience working in veterinary environments has trained me to thrive under high-pressure situations, ensuring I stay focused and deliver results when it matters most. I am deeply passionate about the wellbeing and welfare of horses, and I am committed to ensuring they receive the best care possible. My dedication, combined with my ability to adapt and learn quickly, makes me a valuable asset to any team.
