Experience with Horses
I have recently groomed competitively for a Polo team in Peru. Not only preparing horses during competitions but keeping them fit outside of competitions and backing youngsters. I played in the first women’s polo match in Peru in 20 years!
I have groomed on a dressage yard in Sevilla, ensuring horses were impeccable. Here I also received lessons every day on school masters and youngsters in training, working on flexibility and suppleness for the horses as well as focusing on advanced movements such as half pass, flying changes and pirouettes.
Furthermore, I managed a 5* boutique ranch in Mexico where client care and escorting rides were my main role.
I have owned my horse for the last 10 years and frequently help a friend re train ex racers.
Key Skills
I am very good with people and horses, being a calm but friendly face. I have had experience in a wide range of yards, meaning I have handled stallions, helped back and train youngsters and gathered a broad range of horse management and care skills including basic first aid.
I am also very good with people in a client care setting.
I speak English and Spanish and have an European passport.
