Experience with Horses
I have volunteered at multiple yards over the last 3 years. I have volunteered at riding schools aswell as an equine Therapy centre. I know how to prepare horses to be ridden, care for horses, complete general yard jobs, lunge, and much more. I am currently in my 2nd year of college studying equine level 3 at Sparsholt college.
Key Skills
I can lunge, prepare horses to be ridden quickly, plait, deal with difficult horses and much more. I have good independence and fast thinking aswell as good people skills.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses? I love spending time with horses and caring for them aswell as seeing them develop and improve over time.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve? I would like to improve my confidence with youngsters and thoroughbreds as I haven’t worked with them much.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker? I am hard working and genuinely want to learn all the time. I’m up for anything and love to try something new.
