Hello I’m Shannon, I’m 23 years old, and live in South Africa. I’ve worked with all sorts of horses and I’ve ridden a couple different disciplines too. I’ve done up to 10 years in my Pony Club and achieved my B+ standards along with a lunging certificate.
I’ve been riding and competing my whole life, I’ve competed in Showjumping (up to 1m) and Eventing (up to 1*), but I have been over bigger courses (I’ve gone around some of the 2* combinations and tracks, and over some 1.20/1.30 tracks during lessons and practice, I’ve also trained some elementary Med movements.
I work rode for one of our big Warmblood stud farms here is South Africa – Callaho Warmblood Stud. I’ve ridden for my province on multiple occasions, and reserved selected to ride for South Africa.
I have a huge passion for horses and would love to take it further. I’m patient and very understanding, the horses needs always come first. I’m neat and tidy, fast learning and have a good sense of judgement.
I’m available immediately and I’m happy to sign a 6 or 12 month contract and review our contracts when the time comes. I don’t have anything holding me in South Africa, so I’m happy to relocate and work overseas. I’m happy to chat about visas and wages etc when the time comes.
