Experience with Horses
Previous to my job now, I was employed as the groom at Melbourne Hall. This involved looking after their 5 horses.
During the time as their groom, I had the sole responsibility for their care, which involved:
- Daily care, grooming, etc
- Feeding management
- Veterinary needs
- Organising farrier, dentistry, or veterinary treatment
I have freelanced on and off since 2009
Since 2009, I have worked for several clients. Some long term with consistent care of their horses, others more when required.

Horses have been in my life from an early age. Having previously worked with horses and now as a livestock manager working with a wider variety of animals, I have realized that it is horses I enjoy working with most.
